Shopping on Fehmarn is a very pleasurable activity. In Burg you find the shopping centre of the island. In the historical old town centre, atmospheric smaller and bigger stores offer everything you could wish for. The terraces and cobble stone streets invite you to stroll along and enjoy a coffee, lunch or dinner.

Big supermarkets and stores can be found in the industrial areas of Burg as well as in Petersdorf. There's a wide choice of supermarkets and discounters offering food and drink, including a wide assortment of alcohol. To get to the industrial area of Burg take the B207, get off at the exit Burg/Landkirchen and turn towards Burg.

At Puttgarden, the BorderShop offers all kinds of drink, candy and other foods on 8,000 m². It is the probably largest floating shopping centre in Northern Europe.
