ostseecard*

On arrival at your accommodation you receive the ostseecard* upon payment of the tourist tax. The ostseecard* offers you a wide range of special rates e.g. for events, admission to leisure facilities and in retail. Not forgetting the free admission to the beaches.

Your benefits on Fehmarn are:

- Discounts in retail shops, restaurants and for activities.
- Reductions on the entrance fee to the FehMare Bathing and Spa World.
- Free internet access at the tourist information centre in Burgtiefe.
- Discounted fares on the Bürgerbus on Fehmarn.
- Free use of media at the public library.
- Varied activity and events program with either free or reduced entrance fees to e.g. exhibitions, concerts and other events as well as creative activities and the sports and fitness program provided by the Tourismus-Service Fehmarn.
- Provision and care of infrastructure, e.g. tourist information centres, playgrounds and parks.
- Maintenance of approximately 1.8 km of seaside promenade in Burgtiefe and beaches in Meeschendorf, Bojendorf/Wallnau and at the Grüner Brink, as well as walking trails across the island.
- Car parking close to the beaches.
- Provision and maintenance of sanitary facilities, e.g. beach showers and toilets in Burgtiefe and toilets on all the beaches of the island, as well as handicapped facilities across the whole island.
- Coast guards of the DLRG on the beaches of Burgtiefe, Meeschendorf, Bojendorf/Wallnau and at the Grüner Brink during the main season.
- Water quality tests.
- The ostseecard* is accepted in several other German seaside resorts of the Baltic Sea.
